This is a beautiful Yemenite Shofar with colors ranging from rare gray, to olive green with maroons. The white core of the mouthpiece and the maroon zebra striping only adds to its beauty. This is a good player with a nice chromatic scale. The mouthpiece is a 7C and is an easy player for all. The root note is an E4 that is seldom seen, and perfectly tuned. For trumpet players it has a technical wide rim, for a shofar, that is very rare. In indoor light the top half of this Shofar is more olive green and in outdoor light it is gray, I have never seen a color change Shofar before. Another nice sized playable piece of art, dated, signed, and serial numbered by the famous maker Dauwd Ray. So loud that even with the record volume down 2/3 it still goes off the scale.
